Spanish World Cup Winner Inks Deal With Brokerage Firm

Online brokerage firm has appointed Barcelona football star Andrés Iniesta as international brand ambassador.

WealthBriefing recently reported on a sponsorship deal between tennis player Dominika Cibulkova and brokerage firm FXTM, highlighting the continued association of deals between with sports stars and financial services firms.

UFX signed a two-year deal with Spanish midfielder, with an option of extending the contract to a third year. The World Cup winner will help with the firm’s online campaign and marketing efforts to help it reach to a wider global audience, the firm said in a statement.

Iniesta will become the second sports star to sign a deal with the firm after rugby legend Mike Tindall became UK brand ambassador for UFX.
